About PIL
Perception and Intelligence Laboratory (PIL) aims to develop cutting-edge technologies in perception and intelligence, targeting a wide range of real-world applications including visual surveillance systems, intelligent robotics, autonomous driving, and biomedical fields.
Our research emphasizes the creation of advanced machine learning algorithms that effectively utilize multi-modal data collected from diverse sensors. By understanding the strengths and limitations of various sensor data types, we enhance the capability of AI systems to accurately perceive and adapt to dynamic environments.
Additionally, PIL investigates critical topics such as domain generalization and out-of-distribution detection, aiming to ensure reliable deployment and expansion of AI technologies across diverse industrial sectors.
